You should use blogging because it’s a form of marketing. It’s a communication tool in which you’re sharing your expertise in a different format for diverse learners.
You should make sure that you’re sharing your content in different formats to reach your diverse audience.
Some people like to learn through watching videos, some like listening to audios, but some people like reading text. This is how blogging helps to position your overall brand building marketing strategy.
In today’s article, I’m sharing with you 4 tips for brand building blogging:
Tip #1: Find your focus.
Who are you writing to? Who is this ideal person? With every blog post you write,there should be an ideal person in your mind that you want to read your post. You see your ideal client is searching online for solutions to their problems. Your blog posts should be speaking to their pain point and sharing information to help them. Imagine, that you’re writing a letter to your friend, be conversational and write in their language.
Also, focus on specific categories. A blog is all about sharing information and tips in your specific areas of expertise. You want to make sure that your categories are related to the pain points that your ideal client is searching for.
Tip #2: Be relatable.
It’s very helpful to share stories, it could be a story of your own, someone else, or about your client. In this way, people get to know you and it makes you more human.
You want people to read your information. Let people get to know your personality and your style. Don’t hold back on your personal struggles and successes, people want to connect with people. Just relax and have a conversation with people.
Your social media marketing will bring people to your blog, but you want to keep people there.Being relatable will help you do that.
Tip #3: Include relevant images.
Try to include an image in each of your blog posts; because when people come across your blog – the first thing that they will see is your image(..if you have one). The image invites your readers in and then they decide if they want to read it or not. Also, images evoke an emotion.
How do you want your readers to feel when they’re reading your blogs? These feelings can lead to new subscribers to your email list and generate sales.
Tip #4: Promote your blog.
Don’t just write your blog posts. Share it on your social media channels, make sure that people know about you and can find your content online….this is how you’re going to build your personal brand with blogging.
